Manage Your Mind

Manage Your Mind at All Times!

To keep your faith sound, active, and growing

Your mind has only two key functions

Your mind has two key functions:

To remember the past or to imagine the future.

In other words, you can either focus on what you have seen, heard, and experienced; or you can have an idea in your mind that becomes your faith.

You can visualize it in your mind knowing that Proverbs 23:7 says: “As a man thinketh in his heart, so he is.”

What you believe in your mind will manifest in time.

Hebrews 11:11

“Faith is the substance of things hoped for but not seen.”

Think about it if you are depressed you can’t overcome that with just medicine you have to beat it in your mind. If you are in poverty you can’t just wishfully think you could be rich but you have to believe that you are and then your bank account will hang up when you master it and beat it in your mind. You have to first see it as an idea.

The car you drive began as an idea. The dress or the clothes you put on today started as an idea. Your role as a director was birthed initially as an idea.

2nd Timothy 1:7

Fear Has No Place in Faith

“For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

As you direct the center, you must keep your faith active at all times. When the abortion-minded client comes in; see her in your mind as saving her baby; and begin to pray, binding her baby to her heart and binding her soul to the kingdom of God before you even speak to her.

Romans 15:6

Let everything you do glorify God

“that with one mind and with one mouth, glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

And the key that unlocks all of this is found in Romans 12:2

“And be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, acceptable, and perfect will of God.”

And what is the secret of being transformed? Romans 10:17.

Remember this: the eyes of our faith are open through believing what God has already spoken.

“So faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God”

Corinthians 10:4-5

Put on your armor

“(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God, to the pulling down of strongholds;)” Casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God and bringing into captivity every thought to The Obedience of Christ:

11 Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints

Keep your mind in check. Bring every thought into obedience!

Luke 10:27

Love the LORD with all your heart, soul and mind

“Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart with all thy soul and with all thy mind and strength.

Notice Jesus is speaking the great Shema when He points to soul and mind. What is the soul of a person? It is their mind will and emotions and feelings. So what is Jesus pointing to here? He is telling us to love him with our mind and our mind.

Why is the mind so important? Because it is the one place you can doubt. It is the one place Satan can attack you, to vex you, to worry you, to stress you, to hinder you. This is why it is important to renew your mind, transform your mind, to focus your mind, to become one mind with the Father.

And of that one mind, you are now able to visualize in your heart of hearts, through your innermost being the truth that God is speaking to your heart, through his word, so that you can now make that idea manifest in time to save her life and the life of her baby.

It is with that strong mind; a Divine mind, the mind that lines up with the Holy Spirit inside you, so that you will be able to do your job as a church liaison or advocate volunteer more effectively.
